CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY.- GoLightly, pastor of Fannie Chapel CME church in Campbellsville Ky., will be giving a message on “CU: A Coat of Many Colors” at Campbellsville University's Chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Ransdell Chapel, located at 401 Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
GoLightly was appointed to serve as Zion on July 1, 2010, in the office of General Secretary of Evangelism and Missions at the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in the historic 37th CME General Conference in Mobile, Alabama. His duties included overseeing evangelism and missions for all CME churches in the United States, Haiti, Jamaica and almost 20 countries in Africa.
He has served as a Christian Educator for over 35 years, a social worker for the Commonwealth of Kentucky for 15 years, Prison Chaplain at Vienna Correctional Center in Illinois for seven years and Chaplain of IIP Boot Camp in Dixon Springs, Illinois for seven years.
GoLightly is now the active pastor at Fannie Chapel CME church. He is married to Dr. Carla GoLightly. They have two children, Daniel and David Silva. Daniel is a freshman at Campbellsville University and is a member of the soccer team.
GoLightly has had several opportunities to speak in churches and serve in countries around the world to spread the Gospel.
Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.
