CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Paul Worcester, national collegiate evangelism director for the North American Mission Board, will give Campbellsville University's Revival Week chapel address at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville.

“Revival Week is intended to be a moment in the semester to make space for spirits and lives to be revived with special times in God's word, worship and sharing praise of what God has accomplished and is doing,” Trent Creason, campus minister at Campbellsville University, said.

Worcester and his wife, Christy, started a Baptist Collegiate Ministry, known as Christian Challenge, in 2009 at California State University, Chico in Chico, Calif.

His biography said, “Since then hundreds of students have indicated decisions to become followers of Jesus, with many growing as disciples and learning to multiply their faith.”

Their biography also said, “Paul and Christy share a passion for helping people take their next steps in following Jesus and training leaders.”

Worcester has authored several books on evangelism and college ministry and is a regular speaker at conferences. Worcester is also on the team that manages the site CollegeMinistry.com, which is sponsored by Southern Baptists.

Worcester also helped launch the Campus Multiplication Network, an organization that helps collegiate ministry leaders evangelize and disciple college students and launch new ministries.

Books Worcester has authored include “Tips for Starting a College Ministry,” “Do More With Less Time” and “The Fuel and The Flame: Igniting Your College Campus For Jesus Christ” with Steve Shadrach.

Worcester and Shadrach also co-host a podcast titled “Campus Ministry Today Podcast.” The podcast focuses on interviewing ministry leaders who have had major impacts on their campuses and throughout the world for Jesus.

The podcast's goal is “to build a global community of church-based and campus-based workers focused on reaching, discipling, and sending out the next generation of Christian laborers to change the world for Jesus Christ.”

In addition to the Nov. 2 chapel, Campbellsville University's Revival Week will also feature a testimony night on Tuesday, Nov. 1, where students and staff will share how God is working in their lives. Revival Week will also feature a worship night on Thursday, Nov. 3.

“The goal is always to help those who follow Christ continue to grow in obedience and community and make available the opportunity for others to know Christ for the first time,” Creason said.

Worcester and his wife have two children, Owen and Evelyn.

The public is invited to chapel.

Chapels are televised on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 15), streamed on Campbellsville University's Facebook page and can be found at http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA4XbLolySSd7ntgt9WpXIGTjPtH2dOrB
